Makeover Takeover

So I know that I've been super absent from posting for the past few weeks, but I haven't been gone from blogging completely, as my life has been taken over by making over my blog! As you can hopefully tell, I've chosen a whole new title, theme and color scheme for my little corner of the blogosphere and I love the results!

I liked the way my blog started out, but I felt kind of pigeon-holed with the title and background. Looking at so many gorgeous blogs all around the internet, I was really inspired to re-vamp the look of my blog. I wanted something that was more generally me and that would give me a little more room to grow.

I downloaded a trial version of Photoshop and played around with some different papers and designs and went through a few styles before I found this one. Of course, I showed them to Nathan to ask for his opinion; he was lukewarm about the first two, but when he saw this one, he said, "I think you found you." Perfect! That's actually exactly what I was going for. :)

Anyway, I'm probably not completely finished with it - there are still things I want to change or add, and with my recently-acquired Photoshop skills (and addiction - really, it might be a problem), who knows how long this version will last? For now though, it's here to stay. :) What do you think?!
