The HP Holy Grail!

I may have mentioned here before that I am a HUGE Harry Potter nerd fan. I practically grew up with the books and developed such an affinity for the story and the characters, who were all right around my age as the books came out. Proof that I'm a hardcore fan? I even dressed up with my friends for the seventh movie premiere.

Yes, we're dorks. We know.

So, imagine my heart attack excitement when my parents brought up the idea of taking our family to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida right after Christmas!

..."OMGYES!" was my response, of course!

So, the day after Christmas, we will pack our bags and make the overnight drive down south to spend two glorious days immersed in an HP fantasy world! I cannot wait to...

... enjoy a butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks...

... purchase Fizzing Whizbees, Cauldron Cakes and Chocolate Frogs from Honeydukes...

... and (I may die of excitement) visit Ollivanders to get my very own wand!

Simply seeing Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade Village before my very eyes will surely make my life complete.

(If you're wondering, Nathan is just as much of an HP fanatic as I am and is equally stoked about this adventure. One of a billion reasons why we belong together. :)

I CANNOT wait! I will obviously take a million pictures and will probably go bankrupt buying souveniers, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (and pretty much all my dreams come true). SO EXCITED! :)
